New Venue for the Shimmy Shake Revue
That’s right boys and girls, I have a New Venue for The Shimmy Shake Revue. The Shimmy Shake will now be held the 3rd Saturday of every month at Mickey’s Bar in Pompano. The first show at Mickey’s will be held February 18th, 8pm-till we decide to leave. I am happy to say I will have some of my favorite ladies back up on the stage with me: Miss Sofia Luna, Holly Peno, Val Vampyre and of course myself Morgan La Rue. For your listening pleasure Slip and the Spinouts will be playing sets through out the night.
In addition to the Burlesque and the Band we have added a New Cruise Night alongside the festivities. The Cruise Night will start at 7pm and go on all night. We will have trophies for Best in Show, Best Hot Rod and Best Custom.
Rebbeca your resident Bartender will be slinging drinks for you all night long.
So come out and have some fun. Oh and did I mention there is NO COVER.

Welcome to the new and improved Morganlarue.com. I am so excited about this new layout; I can’t thank my webmaster enough. Take a look around and let me know what you think.
The holidays are approaching us fast and that means lots of new and exciting holiday parties, times with friends an families and of course a Holiday Themed Shimmy Shake Revue at the Monterey Club. We threw out our normal 1st Saturday of the month routine and made the Rockin Holiday Show the 3rd Saturday of the month December 17th, which will feature some of my favorite ladies, Val Vampyre, Ember Furie, Francean Fanny and of course myself; Morgan La Rue.
For your listening pleasure we will have The No. 13’s, Stone Miller & the Dirty Rhythm Jesus, and Black Seal. So come out and let us bring some Holiday Cheer to you.

Happy Fall my friends. So excited that October is here and all the holidays are coming up, including my birthday. The next Shimmy Shake Revue will be November 5th at The Monterey Club in Fort Lauderdale, featuring Angie Z, Lisa Ann, Lola Von Cheeks and of course myself. We will be celebration my birthday so make sure not to miss it. Bands so far we have The Broken String Revival and more to be announced.
Don’t forget every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night 8-11pm you can find some of your favorite Shameless Burlesque ladies at Kung Fu Kitchen, Collins and 17th in South beach.

Happy 4th of July to everyone! Hope you all have a Wonderful Holiday. I have a lot of things that are in the works and I am very excited to share them all with you.
First off please make sure to come out and celebrate the 4th a little early with my Shimmy Shake Revue at The Monterey Club July 2nd, featuring Mia Minx, Izzy Rich, Billie Bee Good and myself Morgan La Rue. We are sure to make some fireworks of our own.
Coming up in August we have the Revue again on August 6th featuring Lisa Ann, Ananga, Ember Furie and myself Morgan La Rue. Plus Morgan La Rue and The Shimmy Shake Ladies will be doing another performance August 12th and 13th at the Sixteenth Annual South Florida Tattoo Expo.

May 2011 and a Sneek peep at June
Hello friends! As usually I have a lot going on. For my full calendar, please check my calendar tab. In the mean time here are a few flyers for the month of May.
I am so excited to be a part of The Pretty Things Peep show, which is in town for the Miami Exxxotica Convention in Miami Beach. The Pretty Things Peep Show will be doing a special performance at the Monterey club Thursday night. The show starts at 10pm, but get there a little early so you can mingle with all of us.
May 19th and I can’t wait to take the stage with Go-Go Amy, Miss Heather Holiday and Angela Eve.

Happy New Year
Happy New year everyone! I hope you had a safe and wonderful holiday. Lots of new and exciting things are happening in 2011. One being starting February, I am proud to announce I have my very own burlesque night called “Morgan La Rue presents the Shimmy Shake Revue”. It will be held at The Monterey Club in Fort Lauderdale the 1st Saturday of every month. Each month will feature myself and 3 different lovely ladies along side some awesome local and national bands. The 1st show February 5th will feature Miss Aurora Natrix, Val Vampyre, Ember Furie and Myself: Morgan La Rue. Along side Stone Miller & the Dirty Rhythm Jesus, Celine & the Hellbillys and the Hep Cat Boo Daddies.
Besides my show February 5th I will be performing at a few other events around South Florida such as the Trouble with Girls All-Female Art Revue:
An event with Shameless Burlesque at Transit Lounge in Miami and a Brass Knuckle Bombshell show at the Poor House.

September & October
Two months rolled up in one post…
Hello lovelies hope all is well! September started off great! I got to spend Labor Day weekend in one of my favorite places (New Orleans) with some of my most favorite people. Drank my way through the city, shopped, listened to great music and ate at some of the best places. I love New Orleans and the people, I am looking forward to going back very soon.
September 17th I had the pleasure of performing with one of the Burlesque Troupes I am a part of, the Brass Knuckle Bombshells at the Poor House in downtown Ft. Lauderdale. The show was a total success and they have asked to come back for a monthly show starting in November! So keep your eyes pealed for our next show date which we will know soon.
As for October, Wow October ALREADY?!?! October is a busy month as always. Between work, shows, a photo shoot or two and part time work I will have to catch up on my sleep in November.
October starts off a photo shoot with Blast Em and the rest of my Shameless Burlesque ladies. Go Go dancing For the Fetish Factory, A Shameless Show and possibly another Brass Knuckle Bombshell show…

Sailor Jerry contest, NOLA and more
Hi everyone! I have a lot to write about. First off I have entered the Sailor Jerry 2011 Calendar Girl Search and would really love to be one of the lucky ladies chosen to be in the calendar. This is a great opportunity and I am very excited about it. So please vote for me, you can vote as much as you want up to Aug 15th just click the Sailor Jerry Header below to take you there.
Second my trip to NOLA was amazing! I got to spend the entire 5 days with some of my wonderful friends and I made some new friends that are just as wonderful. I love the city, the people, and of course the food. While I was there, sadly it was also my last night there I had the honor of performing for the Adopt a Unit organization and along side NOLA best Burlesque Revue Fleur de Tease. Those ladies are amazing! I had a great trip and left with awesome memories, new friends and a few new pair of shoes…lol
